Traffic through Muscat International and Salalah Airports are expected to increase, the growth in passenger numbers is being driven by a number of factors including fleet and route expansion by the national carrier Oman Air, the increase in capacity and frequency by existing carriers, the growth and development of the tourism and economical activity in Oman.

A number improvement and expansion projects have been and will be initiated to deliver additional capacity to meet the expected increase in passenger traffic especially in the passenger processing areas, this is to ensure that passengers using the airport can still enjoy a comfortable and convenient experience as they arrive, depart or transfer through the airport. Companies specializing in relevant projects can participate in the bidding process.

OAMC is seeking expressions of interest from qualified organizations for the supply and installation of an Airport Operational Database (AODB) with hardware and Flight Information Display System (FIDS ) software to integrate with the existing phone flight information and airport announcement systems by using the current servers and hardware at Muscat International Airport.

Interested parties should submit a detailed proposal including:

1. Brief company history, structure, primary disciplines and core competencies.

2. If applicable, details of your local company and representative in Oman.

3. Previous experience in the required field..

4. Quality assurance and continuous improvement procedures, including details of their Safety Management System.
