Plaza Premium Lounge

Plaza Premium Lounge, a premium lounge located at the departures hall at Muscat International Airport is operated by Zahara Airport Services LLC which is a 49/51 percent joint venture between Zahara Travel Services Bureau LLC, a leading travel management company in Oman and Premium Lounge Management Ltd of Hong Kong a well known organization for operating premium class lounges worldwide.

The joint venture will bring together local know how and international expertise. Plaza Premium Lounge Management, an international acclaimed airport lounge management company based in Hong Kong which opened its first lounge in 1998 and currently managing 25 lounges in 10 international airports including Hong Kong, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hyderabad, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Singapore, Toronto, Vancouver and Muscat.

The Plaza Premium Lounge at Muscat International Airport extends to 450m² and the management concession contract expires during October 2011.

The facilities includes a total seating for 120 people including 85 guest seats, 12 dining seats, 12 bar seats & 5 ‘napping’ rooms. There are 2 shower rooms, male & female toilets, a smoking room, children’s’ play area and a 4 seat Business Centre.

The catering contract is with the Al Sawadi Beach Resort who also manages the Flavours Restaurant & Flavours Coffee Shop at the airport.

Zahara Airport Services are looking to gain airline and corporate contracts and will admit ‘pay-in’ customers with a charge of R.O. 10 for adults, R.O. 5 for children aged 6 – 11 and free for under 5s.
