| Air Arabia Starts Sharjah – Salalah Flights | ||

Air Arabia has started its first direct flights to Salalah Airport on the 28th June 2012, this is the fourth airline which operates to Salalah Airport after Oman Air, Air India Express and Saudi Arabian Airlines.
Air Arabia currently operates 14 weekly flights to Muscat International Airport since October 2003, and operates two weekly flights to Salalah Airport every Saturday and Thursday using the Airbus A320 aircraft which has a seating capacity of 162 seats. Air Arabia arrives at Salalah on Thursday at 17:55 and departs at 18:35 evening, the Saturday flight arrives at 21:25 and departs at 22:05. The city of Salalah is a popular destination for tourists due to its natural attractions and its seasonal weather, locally known as “Khareef”. Salalah includes a distinctive natural diversity where the coast blends with the mountains and the desert. The new Air Arabia flight will commence ahead of the Salalah Tourism Festival. - June 2012 |
